Remove Write protection From USB/PENDRIVE

Remove and Repair USB Flash Drive:

Important- Check if it has write-protect switch..Then turn off this Switch

 Steps to Remove Write protection:Methods[1]

1. Remove write-protection in the Registry...(1) In any version of Windows, do the registry trick. Copy this code in notepad and save it as anything.reg file

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies] "WriteProtect"=dword:00000000

 

(2) Open the file and click YES to run it as ADMIN. Type administrator password if necessary..

Command prompt Trick cmd Methods[2]

 1.type Win+R

           2.Type cmd in Run

           3.open as administrator

           4.type diskpart and enter

           5.then type list disk

           6.select disk 1

           7.then type detail disk

           8.type attributes disk clear readonly

           9.task completed successfully.
