हम दो तरीके से मोबाइल के फॉल्ट्स को पहचान सकते है 

1. कोल्ड टेस्टिंग मेथोड (cold testing method )

2 .(Hot testing method)

• कोल्ड टेस्टिंग मेथोड -जब हम मल्‍टीमीटर से किसी से किसी मोबाइल में किसी कॉम्‍पोनेन्‍ट का मान जानने के लिए PCB  प्‍लेट पर उसके टिप्‍स के रेजिस्‍टेस की वैल्‍यू चेक करते है तो उस क्रिया को कोल्‍ड टेस्टिंग कहते है

इस मेथड के अंदर मल्‍टीमीटर के रेड प्रोबको पीसीबी के ग्राउंड से कनेक्‍ट करते है और ब्‍लैक प्रोब को टेस्टिंग पॉइट से कनेक्‍ट करते है किसी मोबाइल के पार्ट का फाल्‍ट जानने के लिए नीचे दी गयी सेक्‍शन वाइस वैल्‍यू मिलनी चाहिए

·       Ear Phone Connector Tip (+ , -): .300 to .1500

·       Loud Speaker / Ringer Connector Tip (+,-): . 300 to .1500

·       Battery Connector Tip (+): .250 to .600

·       Battery Connector Tip (Sense): above .500

·       Display Connector Supply Pins: .250 to .800

·       Display Connector Signal Pins: .250to .800

·       Camera Connector Supply Pins: .250 to .800

·         Camera Connector Signal Pins: .250 to .800

• हॉट टेस्टिंग मेथोड-यह मोबाइल में फाल्‍ट जाने के लिए दूसरे मेथड है जब कोल्‍ड टेस्टिंग से मोबाइल में फाल्‍ट नहीं मिल पता है तब इस मेथड का यूज किया जाता है|
• इस मेथड के अंदर मोबाइल फोन के डैमेज पार्ट सा सेक्‍शन के वोल्‍टेज को चेक किया जाता है इसमें मोबाइल को DC  पॉवर सप्‍लाई मशीन से कनेक्‍ट करके DC  वोल्‍टेज दिया जाता है |इसमेंमें DCV (DC वोल्‍ट ) रेंज मल्‍टीमीटर को रख के सेट कर दिया जाता है|

ब्लैक प्रोब को ग्राउंड के साथ एवं रेड प्रोब को टेस्टिंग पॉइट के साथ कनेक्‍टकरते है हर एक सेक्‍शन का वोल्‍टेज नीचे दी गये सेक्‍शन वाइज वैल्‍यू मिलनी चाहिए|

  ·         Loud Speaker / Ringer Connector Tip (+,-) during working: . 1.2V to 3.0V
  ·         MIC Connector Tip (MIC) (+): 1.8 to 3.0

  ·         Display light IC: CPU (EN Signal ) 1.2V to 2.8 V
  ·         Display Connector Supply Pins: 1.8V to 2.8V
  ·         Display & Touch Connector Signal Pins During Working: . 1.8V to 3.3V
  ·        Camera Connector Supply Pins: 1.8 to 2.9
  ·         Camera Connector Signal Pins During Working: 1.8V to 3.3V
  ·         Key Tip (Row and Column) One Side: 1.8 to 2.8V
  ·         Charger Connector Tip (Vcharge )When charger Connected : 5V to 6V
  ·         Power ON / OFF Switch Point (+): 1.5V to 4.2V
  ·       MIC Connector Tip (MIC) (+): 1.8 to 3.0

  ·         Micro SD Card Connector(VDD) When MMC Connected : 1.2V to 3.0V

  ·         SIM Card Connector Pin 2,3,6 During Working: 1.2V to 3.0V
